In this workshop we will focus our attention on the question: "What are my beliefs and inner narratives about immersive play?" Immersive play refers to the direct experience of both participating and being absorbed in a dynamic set of relationships, where we are receiving ordinary pleasure from unpredictable contact, flow, and consequences, and where we relax the need to assert our separation or become possessive of our experiences of connection.
We will use meditation, creative prompts, and live feedback to get clear on a few core narratives/beliefs we are running related to immersive play, and then reconfigure them into jewel-like, life sustaining, spine tingling landmarks of wisdom in our thoughtscapes. For more info and tickets go here

The fundamental human technologies of sound, movement, language, rhythm, relational coherence, and creative expression belong to all people, and are required for our overall wellness and our participation as living beings in the natural world.
At Animist Arts we are devoting our time and attention to freeing these abilities from colonial patternings and cultivating dynamic, skillful relationships with all of reality (all phenomena, including other humans, the natural world, ancestors, time, thoughts, emotions, ideas, energy, our own body etc.).
We frame this as responsible animist improvisation, responding to life and death (change, transition) with our unique creative expressions while staying connected to the context we find ourselves in.
Animist Arts offers workshops and courses, podcasts, art, practice videos, performance-rituals and customized services for individuals, groups and organizations.
